Description
TRANSFORMERS (GENERATION ONE)
ISSUE 78.5
"THE LAST QUEST"
PREV < COVER > NEXT
Lineart by John Gonzalez
Colors by Ibai Canales
Concept by Juan Pablo Osorio and Franco Villa
NOTES
It was the year 2011 when the fandom started a petion that would ultimately persuade IDW to give Simon Furman a second chance at properly "ending" his original run on the G1 Marvel US comics (81 from iDW).
That petition is now a reality, as it spawned the Regeneration One miniseries, designed to expand the saga from issue #81 to issue #100 (and including the event-recapping #81.5 and the mini-Spotlight #0).
The artists and writers of Transformers: Seeds Of Deception and Transformers: The Lost Seasons joined their forces to create a mini-comic in order to help promote the petition.
That mini-comic was "The Last Quest", a story firmly set in the continuity of the original Marvel comics--and based on one of Simon Furman's unused ideas for the original run, which he had to drop when the series was "axed".
We are re-uploading the pages, featuring a new version of the lettering, because finally the great finale of this story is complete! Stay tuned for pages 4-11 of The Last Quest: who will awaken the Last Autobot? And which Furman-created character will unexpectedly return?
