NOTES
The figures on Modulok's screen are Blast Attak and the unofficially-named, unproduced Snake Trooper.
As per page 40, in our version of the MotU continuity Blast Attak used to be a blue Snake Man, later turned into a cyborg.
The Motu Mini-comics feature Blast Attak as one of King Hiss' creations, but considering the faction-swapping of characters such as Rattlor and Tong Lashor (also Sssqueeze and Snake Face teaming up with Skeletor, in "Energy Zoids"), we can theorize that Blast Attak will later escape and rejoin the Snake Men.
The Snake Trooper was designed by Errol McCarthy, and although it's just an attempt at selling more toys at the minimum production cost (in 1985), the mix of Horde and Snake parts brings potential for many interesting developments and stories.
Can you image a Filmation cartoon featuring a war between the Horde and the Snake Men?
"Snake Trooper" il just lamest, simplest name we could come up with for the hybrid Snake/Horde soldier. Any better ideas?
Once again, DarkHope is manipulating events from the Corridor Of Darkness (her dimensional prison in Subtheria, which she usually cannot leave).
Among her many magical items, Darkhope owns a mirror which can monitor any corner of the universe (much like the mirror in Castle Greyskull).
