Description
KARNIFEX
EPISODE 10: "THE UNSEEN"
GALLERY << COVER < PAGE 1 > NEXT
Art by Nathan Anderson
Story & lettering by Franco Villa
Edits by Zac DeBoard
Karnifex logo created by Ibai Canales
Karnifex name created by Seb
NOTES
Fabian is wearing the Wetsuit version of the Karnifex suit.
It looks like a standard neoprene wetsuit, whose gloves and boots are not detachable, as per the usual Karnifex suit rules.
The mask is different from the usual gasmask, but it's not exactly a diving mask either: the hood and the goggles form one piece, and the mouth opening for the rebreather is actually sealed by a filter (which could be compared to a gasmask).
Some movie references on the bookshelf.
The dark anti-hero "Kriminal" was a star of Italian comics books in the 1960, and he was even featured in two movies (starring Glenn Saxon).
"Inferno" is one of Dario Argento's more disturbing movies, revealing that one of the Three Mothers who rule the world is nothing less than Death itself!
The bookshop building looks larger inside, as if something supernatural were going on. It's a reference to the aforementioned "Inferno".
